Your shop is probably already listed

Independent optical shops across Malaysia, Singapore and Australia are in the directory already, compiled from public sources. You did not have to do anything, and there is nothing to pay. What you can do is make the listing accurate.

What is shown

What every listing carries

The same fields for every shop, whether or not the owner has ever been in touch. Nothing here is an add-on, and nothing is reserved for shops that pay.

star

Public rating

The shop's own star score, always shown beside its review count, so a 4.9 from nine reviews reads differently to a 4.7 from three thousand.

storefront

Shop name and type

Optical shop, optometrist, eye care centre, sunglasses store or wholesaler, matched to how the shop describes itself rather than how we would.

call

Phone number

Where the shop publishes one. It is the field people use most, because the price question gets answered by calling, not by reading a website.

location_on

Address and website

The street address, and the retailer's own site where either is published — a link out to them, never a booking form of ours.

Owner routes

Three ways to take control of a listing

All three are free, and none of them need an account. Pick the one that matches your situation.

add_business

Add a shop that is missing

If your shop is not in the directory, search Google Business for it and add it. It enters the same list as every other shop in that town.

edit_note

Claim and correct a listing

Fix a wrong phone number, a shop that has moved, a stale address or a name that changed. You keep the listing, and the rating stays as published.

block

Ask to be removed

You can opt out of the directory entirely. The listing comes out, and it stays out unless you add it back yourself.

Owner questions

What shop owners usually ask

Straight answers, including the ones that are not in our favour.

No. There is no paid tier, no advertising and nothing to upgrade. Being listed costs nothing and buys nothing — that is the whole point of the directory.

No. Order within a list is not for sale and there is no sponsored slot to buy. The only thing that moves a listing is correcting what it says.

There is nothing here to remove. The rating and review count are copied from what the shop already publishes publicly — the directory does not collect or host reviews of its own.

Claim the listing and correct it. The change goes in, and the next refresh keeps it rather than restoring the old details.

Start here

Get the listing right, then leave it alone

It takes a few minutes: add the shop if it is missing, or claim it if it is already here. After that there is nothing to maintain unless your details change.
